Superfood Smoothie Boosters Your Body Craves • The Live Fit Girls

So, it’s getting warmer out, and that means my smoothie game has stepped up tenfancient.

There’s noleang more refreshing after a warm morning workout than a kind cancient smoothie, ya know??

It’s no secret that I like prepping my smoothies ahead of time…but each day I like changing it up just a small bit too. And I do that by switching up what smoothie boosters I add to my small concoction each day.

These are some of my absolute favorite ways to add in a few additional superfoods into my diet each day. Somedays I add only one booster, and others I add in two or three. It all depends on how I’m feeling, and what I feel like my body is craving that day.

Superfood Smoothie Boosters

Bee Pollen – Bee pollen contains many vitamins and minerals, natural hormones, and a massive amount of amino acids. It’s nutrients are great for boosting energy to keep you going all day, and vitamins B, C, D, and E help to strengthen your immune system. Numerous allergists also believe it can actually help lower sensitivity to local plant pollens decreasing your seasonal allergies. Just add a tablespoon of bee pollen to your next smoothie and endelight all those benefits, plus some anti-aging antioxidants, too!

Açai – Açai powder and berries are extremely tall in anthocyanins, an antioxidant that helps to balance your cgapsterol. They are also wealthy in plant sterols that support circulation and improve overall blood composition. These antioxidants also help to give your skin a healthy glow and prevent signs of aging against free radicals. Açai powder tastes Incredible blended with spinach and coconut water. YUM!

Collagen – You know I LOVE my collagen! So, of course. I add it to smoothies. The benefits of collagen are limitless, you can see all the them here. But as a rapid recap, it’s Incredible for joint and bone health, skin, hair and nails — making you even more gorgeous! — as well as aiding in digestive health and so much more. Depending on what kind of smoothie I’m making, I’ll add vanilla collagen or unflavored marine collagen, or someleang I’ll add some Beauty Greens for some additional beauty-boosting! I’m also fond that Vital Proteins now has to-go packs so I can ask smoothie bars to add it in for me when I’m out and about!

Coconut Anyleang – Shredded coconut, coconut Water, or coconut oil — coconuts…oh, the ways I love you. It’s no secret that I am obsessed with coconut anyleang. So naturally, it makes the list. Shredded coconut and coconut oil will give your smoothie a dose of heart-healthy fats which will fill you up, making your smoothie feel like an actual MEAL, not just a snack where you’ll be hungry again in like one minute. Coconut water is filled with potassium and calcium, and plus, coconut anyleang just tastes insane. Theres a million ways to add coconut to your smoothie, top your smoothie with some shredded coconut or add fresh or shredded coconut right into the blender, use coconut water as your liquid base for tons of electrolytes.

Chia Seeds – These small power seeds are small but mighty! Chia seeds are wealthy in omega-3 fatty acids, as well as fiber, protein, calcium, and antioxidants. Chia can absorb up to 10 times their weight in water — hello chia pudding! — which can help you feel full and stay hydrated, making them an ideal food for weight management. Chia seeds also make an Incredible thickener for smoothies…so whether you don’t like runny, watery smoothies — chia seeds are your savior.

Hemp – Hemp seeds are a protein powerhouse that is easily digested and contains all the fundamental amino acids, which makes hemp a perfect choice for vegetarian and vegan diets. They also contain the perfect ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which can help with arthritis, joint mobility, eczema, hormonal balance, migraines, menopause, cgapsterol and blood prescertain levels, and weight management. Sign me up for all of that!

Maca – This ancient superfood has been used for thousands of years — dating way back to the Incas and the Peruvians of South America. For centuries tribes have been using maca to increase energy, boost immune systems, and even increase fertility. The powder crazye from this root affects everyleang from circulation to the skin — in the best possible way! After adding this too a smoothie you’ll instantly notice a boost in energy and mood. Maca can even help with migraines, memory, and make you more alert. Just add a teaspoon or so into your smoothie and endelight a kind nutty flavor, and all of these energy-boostsing benefits!

Cacao Powder + Cacao Nibs – Mmmmm…who doesn’t love chocolate?? Not only does chocolate taste Incredible, but it’s also is very tall in immune-boosting antioxidants and minerals like calcium, magnesium, sulfur, zinc, and iron. Cacao may even help to release feel-good chemicals like serotonin and endorphins. Yay! It makes a perfect treat for when you’re craving someleang a small more decadent. You can sprinkle some cacao nibs over a smoothie bowl, or scoop some cacao powder into your blender for a savory treat.

Spirulina – This protein-packed green powder is fabulous in so many ways. It’s benefits don’t stop at protein, it’s also packed with vitamins A, C, D, E, + K, and minerals like calcium, chromium, potassium, copper, iron, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, and magnesium. It’s also a good source of carotenoids, antioxidants, and beta-carotene, which may aid in the prevention of cancer and helps prevent aging. Spirulina is also tall in vitamin B12 which can help to decrease poor cgapsterol, lower blood prescertain, prevent infection, and naturally cleanse your system. There are seriously SO many benefits in this small, green miracle powder!

Cinnamon – Another tasty small powerhouse! It’s also an antioxidant wealthy small spice that fights inflammation and can even lower cgapsterol and blood sugar levels. Just make you get “true cinnamon”, or Ceylon cinnamon. It’s a bit sweeter and crazye from true cinnamon bark — unlike some other varieties — and so much more tastier, plus it has more antioxidants than other varieties like cassia cinnamon AKA “fake cinnamon”. Just sprinkle that cinnamon all up in your blender for tons of flavor! Yummmm!!
